Detailed Itinerary

Your Char Dham Yatra Package from Surat will get started from here. From Surat, you should take an overnight train to Delhi or board a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi Airport or the railway station, meet our representative and then get transferred to the hotel. Now check-in to the hotel and have some rest in your hotel room. You will have the rest of the day to either relax or explore the nearby places.

Your Day 02 will start with a healthy breakfast at hotel and then Checkout from the hotel to drive from Delhi to Haridwar. At Haridwar, check-in to the hotel to take some rest or visit Mansa Devi or Chandi Devi Temple and then visit famous Har Ki Pauri Ghat in the evening to attend the Ganga Aarti. Later on, explore the Haridwar market and then return back to the hotel to have your dinner and cozy night stay.

On Day 03, we will depart early morning for the Barkot via beautiful Mussoorie where you can have the experience of Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Falls on the way.

When arrived at Barkot, simply check-in to your hotel and do whatever you want as rest of the day is completely free to relax or witness the beauty of Barkot Hill Station. Get your mouthwatering dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.

On the 4th day of this Chardham Yatra, you will visit and have Darshan of first dham i.e. Yamunotri Dham. Start your day with having the breakfast at Hotel and leave for Hanuman Chatti and Janki Chatti from where the trek ( 6 Km ) to Yamunotri temple begins. If you’re comfortable to walk through the 6 Km trek then that’s great, otherwise you will have the option to hire palki, ponies, or a horse completely at your own cost.

During the trek, you will witness the lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Once the trek completed, you will be reached to Yamunotri Dham temple where you can take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and then perform Pooja at the temple.

You can also cook rice by covering them with cloth and dipping them in the hot water springs. So many pilgrims take this cooked rice to their home as “Prasad”. Champasar Glacier is the actual source of Yamuna river which is about 1 Km from the Yamunotri temple at an altitude of 4,321 meters.

After performing pooja and taking the spiritual experience, return back to the Barkot via same route and check-in to your hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

Start your day with a tasty breakfast at Barkot hotel and check out from the hotel to leave for Uttarkashi. Enjoy the mesmerizing views throughout the hilly journey and arrive at Uttarkashi. Upon arrival you will be checked into the hotel to get some rest and then visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple and Shakti temple.

Uttarkashi also known as Somya Kashi or Shivnagari is a town in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand which is famous for an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva where thousands of devotees visit every year.

Situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is a pilgrimage that has its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams where devotees visit to get the blessings of Lord Shiva and witness the power of ancient Shakti Trishul that is almost six meters in height and more than 1500 years old.

Then come back to the hotel to have dinner and stay overnight at Uttarkashi.

Fulfill your morning cravings with the breakfast at hotel and start your journey towards the Gangotri Dham. Gangotri Dham is the second Dham of this Char Dham Yatra which is located in the mesmerizing region of Garhwal at an altitude of 3048 meters.

On arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganga Ji, also known as Bhagirathi at its origin. Now visit the Gangotri Temple to perform the Pooja and Darshan, built in 18th century by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga which is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagiratha worshipped Lord Shiva.

It’s the exact place where Ganga ji touched the earth when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from his locks. Although, the actual origin of river Ganga ji is at Gaumukh in the Gangotri glacier which is about 19 km away from the Gangotri.

After performing Pooja and Darshan, experience the beauty of nature around you and then late afternoon, we will return back to Uttarkashi. Now enjoy your delicious dinner and stay overnight at Uttarkashi.

The next destination will be Guptkashi, so have your breakfast early in the morning and get ready for the journey to Guptkashi. Witness the beauty of river Mandakini at Tilwara enroute Guptkashi. On arrival, check-in to the hotel, get some rest and visit Ardhanarishwar Temple and Vishwanath Temple.

Guptkashi is a fairly large town located at an elevation of 1,319 meters on the banks of Mandakini river and 47 kilometers away from holy shrine Kedarnath Ji. The magnificient view of Guptkashi will definitely fill you with lots of refreshment and peace.

After exploring the Guptkashi, have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel/camp so that your body can get prepared for the next day’s journey to Kedarnath temple.

Get ready to visit the 3rd Dham of this Char Dham Yatra, i.e. Kedarnath Dham. Start your day with the breakfast at hotel and then drive towards Sonprayag which is about 30 Km from Guptkashi and will take 1-1.5 hours.

By Trek: From Sonprayag, you will find the local jeep that runs from Sonprayag to Gaurikund and Gaurikund to Sonprayag. Reach Gaurikund through the jeep and then the 17 km trek to Kedarnath Dham will get started.

Here you will have the options to hire Palki, Pony or Horses to cover the 17 Km trek at your own cost.

By Helicopter: The driver will drop you at Phata Helipad, Sitapur Helipad, Sersi Helipad, and Guptkashi Helipad from where your Helicopter ride to Kedarnath Dham will get started at your own cost. ( Helicopter tickets are not included in the package )

The Kedarnath Dham or Temple is one among 12 Jyotirlingas of Bhagwan Shiva, situated on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river in Uttarakhand.

According to the legend, after defeating Kauravas in Mahabharat, Pandavas wished to atone for the sins of committing gotra hatya and Brāhmana hatya during the war and started searching lord Shiva to seek his blessings. First Pandavas went Varanasi, but Bhagwan Shiv wanted to avoid them and took the form of a bull ( Nandi ) and hid in the Garhwal region.

In search of lord Shiva, Pandavas went to Garhwal Himalayas where Bhima saw a bull grazing near Guptkashi and immediately recognized the bull to be Bhagwan Shiva. When Bhima caught the tail and hind leg of the bull, the bull-formed Bhagwan Shiva immediately disappeared into the ground to later reappear in parts.

Bhagwan Shiva as bull reappeared in 5 different forms, with the hump raising in Kedarnath temple, the arms appearing in Tungnath, the face showing up at Rudranath, the nabhi (navel) and stomach surfacing in Madhyamaheshwar and the hair appearing in Kalpeshwar.

And now these five places, i.e. Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar and Kalpeshwar known as Panch Kedar.

On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in to the Govt Camps/Lodges in Kedarnath and take some rest. Have your dinner and stay overnight in Kedarnath.

The 9th day of this char dham yatra package from Surat will be scheduled to visit Kedarnath Ji Temple and for darshan. Wakeup early in the morning, take bath and visit the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath lord Shiva.

Every devotee is allowed to go inside the Garbha Graha, touch the holy idol and do prayer. After Puja and having darshan of Kedarnath Ji, come out of the temple and witness the beautiful nature around you, idol of Nandi Ji and the great Bhimshila which saved the Kedarnath temple during the flood of year 2013.

After spending some quality time outside of the temple, return back to the Govt Camps/Lodges. Now start your 17 kilometers of trek back to Gaurikund, then take shared jeep and reach Sonprayag where the driver will be waiting for you at the car parking. Drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi, have your dinner and stay overnight at Guptkashi.

On the 10th day of this Char Dham Yatra, you will get the opportunity to visit the 4th Dham of Uttarakhand’s Chota Char Dham, i.e. Badrinath Dham. Start your day with having the breakfast at hotel and then checkout from the hotel early in the morning at about 8 am. After checkout, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath and enjoy the beautiful journey.

Badrinath in Uttarakhand is famous for a temple dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu, also known as Badrivishal or Badrinarayana Temple. The temple is located on the banks of Alaknanda River in Chamoli district. It is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers of India, having recorded 2.8 million (28 lakh) visits in just 2 months in 2022.

On arrival at Badrinath, check-in to your hotel, take some rest and have refreshments. Now it’s time to go and take a hot bath in Tapt Kund and get ready to visit the Badrinath Temple for Darshan and Puja. You will have the enough time to worship the lord Vishnu, pray for the betterment of you and your family and then don’t forget to attend the evening Aarti.

After filling yourself with lots of happiness and joy at Badrinath temple, return back to your hotel, have your dinner and stay overnight.

Start your day with the Darshan of Lord Badrivishal by visiting the Badrinath temple in the morning, then return back to your hotel to have your breakfast. Badrinath has some major attractions nearby such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Mata Murti, Charan Paduka, and Bhimkund where you should visit.

So after the breakfast, leave the hotel for local sightseeing and enjoy visiting these attractions. After visiting these places, checkout from the hotel in the afternoon and start your journey towards the Rudraprayag via Joshimath.

Rudraprayag has a huge religious significance and is one among the Panch Prayag of Alaknanda River. Rudraprayag is the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Apart from the confluence of the rivers, Rudraprayag has stunning views of mountains and nature’s beauty.

On arrival at Rudraprayag, check-in to the hotel and then you will have rest of the day to either relax in the hotel or explore the beautiful Rudraprayag. At the end of 11th day, have your dinner and take a overnight nap at the hotel.
